Our Purchasing Department is currently looking to add an energetic and self-motivated individual to fill a full-time position at our headquarters in Janesville, WI as a Powersports Parts & Accessories Buyer. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join a friendly business in a fun industry.

Qualifications: Candidates must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment. The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 2 to 3 years work experience preferably in the Powersports industry, recent college graduates will be considered for an entry level buyer position. Applicable work experience includes working in a Powersports dealership, buying parts and accessories or working in a service position with in depth product and application knowledge. Prior job experience within the Powersports market is a definite plus. Candidates with buying experience within a distribution operation or manufacturer also will be considered.

This position requires strong math and analytical skills. Excellent computer skills with knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and/or forecasting/buying experience in an MSRP type purchasing program preferred. Solid communication skills, both written and oral, are required.

Problem solving skills, attention to detail, time management and organization skills a must. Personal Powersports experience preferred but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities: include but are not limited to the following:

  • Product selection and market analysis from a distribution perspective
  • Purchasing products from assigned vendors to maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Forecasting and managing sales and inventory based on historical trends and data
  • Purchasing inventory to ensure timely deliveries of product
  • Maintaining /developing good partnerships with our vendors and suppliers
  • Procure and maintain documentation related to product lines
