Features
- Revolutionary cam design for 84-99 80” Evolution only has Multi-Index Gears to offer the versatility of threecam timing settings with one camshaft. One position gives a 4° advance of usual cam timing and another position is 4° retarded of the original timing. An overall 8° timing range is available. Made in the U.S.A.
- Bolt-in performance that works better with high performance carb and exhaust, offering a noticeable difference throughout the rpm range
- Excellent for speed and touring
- Valve-to-piston clearances must be checked in some early Evolution engines without notched pistons
- Produces strong low-end and mid-range power
- Engine must have higher-than-stock compression ratio or increased displacement up to 88 cu. in.
- Works best in modified engines with headwork performed
- Increases performance in mid- and upper-rpm range
- Valve-to-piston clearances must be checked in some early Evolution engines without notched pistons
- Produces a wide power range in your Evolution
- Engine must have at least 10:1 compression ratio
- Good cam for strokers and motors with up to 95 cu. in.
- Modified heads and high-lift springs required
- Bolt-in performance that increases horsepower in engines with carb and exhaust work, but will work in a stock engine
- Valve-to-piston clearances must be checked in some early Evolution engines without notched pistons
- Designed for increased cubic inch/compression engines
- Valve clearance must be checked and performance springs are necessary for a higher lift
