TORQUEBOX 6-SPEED TRANSMISSIONS
Features
- The Torquebox makes the jump from the 2 1/2” transmission standard to a full 3” center-distance between the two shafts – increasing the torque handling capacity to 250 ft-lb.
- Torquebox features include a billet aluminum transmission case; 2” dia. shift drum; ratchet pawl with overshift inhibitor and 65% larger shaft; top mounted ignition kill and neutral switches for easy adjustments; frictionless detent system; 9310 steel shafts and 8620 steel gears with double-thick, heat-treated teeth and a 23T 1/2” offset sprocket
- Baker’s dual-rail shift forks and a shift system lever ratio that is 35% under stock for tight, short shifts
- All frame, starter and clutch interfaces are identical to stock-based designs
- Available as a right- or left-side drive; both versions are identical except for the mainshaft
- Available with R-ratio or Z-ratio gears
